I didn't think I'd have time to paint this week, with the ARTconnectsLA presentations and all. But I did manage to set aside one day for it, and this is what I did.
The blue turned out to be a lot more intense than I was expecting. It was a lot lighter before it dried.
36" x 36"
24" x 48"
24" x 24"
12" x 24"
As usual, these are all in search of titles, in case you have any inspired ideas!
The miniature paintings continue to amaze me. I get the greatest patterns on these. Here are a few of my new ones. They're just 2.5 x 3.5 inches -- very small.
When I was painting the other day, I did a few miniatures. These are just a little larger than a business card -- 2.5" x 3.5". Acrylic latex on canvas.
I am an artist, living and working in the Los Angeles area. I consider myself to be part "mad scientist," because I'm interested in observing the effects of combining unorthodox materials and manipulating paint in unusual ways.
