New Haz Mat Paintings
I did some painting last week, and these are four new pieces in my "Haz Mat" series. So named because I get the paint from the Household Hazardous Waste Facility in Santa Monica!

New Books
I'm mentioned in two new books that were recently published, and that I highly recommend.
The first is Fine Art Adoption Network, by Adam Simon.

One of my adopted paintings is featured along with the initial e-mail message from the woman who adopted the work. It's a fun little book about an interesting concept. The Fine Art Adoption Network has been around for about three years now, with over 250 participating artists and about 400 works of art adopted.
The other book is the sixth edition of How to Survive and Prosper As an Artist, by Caroll Michels.

This latest edition features a section on "Art Marketing and the Internet," and there are a couple of paragraphs about me and this blog.

There's a new gallery that's opening this weekend for the Pomona Art Walk. Veronica Fernandez of Fine Art Advising Services in Santa Monica is curating the opening show, called "OBJCT::of my confection." She selected three of my paintings for the show, including the triptych shown below:
