Greetings from my studio! I'm working on some new "Oops!" paintings and finishing up a sketchbook for The Sketchbook Project at Art House in Atlanta, GA.

Pierre Paul Art Gallery in Ann Arbor, Michigan is featuring my work in a show titled "From the Outside, Looking In." The show runs from Feb. 2 - April 30.

I hope you're all doing well, and I look forward to hearing about the projects you're working on.

The Sketchbook Project

The Sketchbook Project is one of the projects organized by Art House in Atlanta, GA. 3,000 artists from all over the world are creating sketchbooks to be taken on a six-city tour of galleries and museums. Cities include Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Boston, Chicago, St. Louis, and Brooklyn. The goal of the exhbition is to encourage anyone to create artwork, and the sketchbooks are for sale.

The pictures to the left are three of the pages from the sketchbook I created for the project. The leaf prints were made using an ecoprint process, and the text is from the poem "Trees," by Joyce Kilmer, applied using image transfer.

Donated Work

I donate my artwork to nonprofit organizations through a group in Boston called The Art Connection. It gives me great pleasure knowing that my work hangs in public places where it will be seen by many people and make a difference in their lives. A recent donation was to Toward Independent Living and Learning, Inc. (TILL). My "Lupine" diptych, pictured here, is hanging in their new ETC cafe in Chelsea.

TILL provides services to people of all ages with mental retardation, physical handicaps, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, emotional problems and brain injuries. They offer innovative services to help individuals maximize their potential for personal growth and independent living.
